  • Flowers

  • Larson's Cove "Fogama'a" Beach | Photo by: J.D. Hall

    Larson's Cove "Fogama'a" Beach

Larson's Cove has two beaches, Fogama'a and Fagalua. The closest to the Lodge is Fogama'a, and it is about a 25-30 minute walk/hike from the Lodge for an adult. As far as hikes go, getting to the beach is a fairly easy walk. Getting down the beach however can be difficult as the rocks at the entrance to the beach are very slippery and there are two 3 ft. step downs to navigate. However, for those who can't make the trip, here are some pictures of that beautiful little beach.

    Larson's Cove Reef Photography

From time to time we receive submissions of photographs from guests, scientists, and professional and amateur divers of the reef in the cove below the Lodge. According to what we've been told, the reef in our section of Larson's Cove is healthier and in better condition than the National Marine Wildlife Sanctuary in Fagatele Bay, one cove down from our location.
